I am in the very early phases of a Wireless RollOut in my community in Middle Tennessee. I am planning on marketing a Wireless Broadband service. Basically no Service Level Agreements, no Uptime Guarantees. Just the same as standard broadband. Later I may move into priority services for businesses or high end users who want to pay the extra for the Guarantees. I'm not planning on rolling out a bargain basement crap service just an affordable one. I am competing with DSL starting at 49.00 a month residential and 79.00 business base rates, of course there are special promotions that bring the prices down. Cable runs about 40 or 50 per month but most people don't know how much they really pay because it comes bundled with their cable tv bill (They honestly don't know). I'm just curious as to what fee structures are being offered by others in similar situations. Also I'm planning an initial mailing to all businesses and homes within a 1 mile radius of our initial pop (Several Thousand candidates) as well as working out some time to hype the service on a local radio station that we cooperate greatly with. Any advertising tips that have worked for others. Thanks for any info.
