[isp-wireless] How legal is this?
I know this question has been asked, but I am not sure what the
conclusion was, so please forgive me if I am repeating this issue.

We have been scanning our geographical area and have found several
networks that are wide open and we know who the wi-fi networks belong
to. We have not associated with them, as a fellow did in TX and got
hammered for it. My question is, can we contact these companies and
offer to correct these problems without having any legal problems for
sniffing our their networks?

Thanks,
~V~
