RE: W2K registration #
The key doesn't matter, just purchase a copy to be legit.

Subject: W2K registration #
I wanted to test a Mail/DNS server configuration out. So, I installed
W2K Pro from a friends CD. Then, I downloaded some trial versions of
mail
and dns servers. Well to my surprise everything pretty much worked
the way I wanted the first go around and I like the setup.
So, now I'm need to make this machine legit. Can I just go out and
buy a version of W2K pro and register it without reinstalling. Do
they store the install number in the registry somewhere? Do I even
need to worry about the machine or just register and just file the
certificate?
TIA
