Faith,

you can do anything you want in the US, as long as you pay your taxes and
any local business fees...

typically the only thing you need is an operating entity - LLP, LLC,
corporation - and a federal tax ID and sales tax ID.

keep good books and pay your taxes, and you should be all set!
