[isp-solaris] HELLO - This is my first query
Hello.

My name is Eva and I am new to isp-solaris.
I work as a Sys Admin for 5 years.

However I happen to have a problem with crontab in Solaris 2.6
(However, this is not the case in SOlaris 8).
I edit the root crontab file using crontab -e, while the EDITOR is vi.
Whenever I have tried to make a new entry I am given the result
" Your contab file has an error in it unexpected end of line
This entry has been ignored"

Could anybody plea
se suggest me what to do???
I mean when I save the modified crontab file I use " :x!" instead of " wq!" . Could this be a problem?? I have also tried to press the return key at the end of the line but nothing has happened.

I do not know what to do.

Thanks a lot.

Eva
