RE: ftp server recommendations?

Thanks to all that responded with ftp server recommendations.

I decided to dump wu-ftpd and switch to proftpd (www.proftpd.org).  ProFtpd 
looks great and has very good support for virtual ftp hosts.  It uses 
apache-like configs so any familiar with apache already has a head start at 
getting a good config for the ftp server.

I checked securityfocus.com for notes on vulnrabilities in proftpd and 
there were only a few issues from early releases.  Looks pretty safe/stable 
now (as much as anything is these days).
