RE: ftp server recommendations?
Hello Rob,
I have found ncftpd to be a rather nice and secure ftp daemon.
While it is not a free product for commercial use, the $99-199 licensing
fee is rather small. It works great on Solaris 2.6, 7, and 8. Check out
http://www.ncftpd.com.

Check out ProFTPD, it works great and has virtual hosts support plus
many,
many more features.

I think sunfreeware.com has some pre-compiled packages available.
