ufsrestore error : Value too large for defined data type

Hi,
I am facing a problem while ufsrestoring a dump over the network taken of a
folder using ufsdump.
The folder is located in VERITAS Volume Manager partition(UFS filesystem)and
the dump file size is 17GB.

following are the details:

Dump type: ufsdump
Dump size: 17GB
Dumped folder located: In Veritas Volume manager partition
Command used for restoration: ufsrestore xvf <m/c ip addr>:<path to file>
Error encoutered: "<path to file>:Value too large for defined data type"
