Threads in a Process

Greetings everyone!

My name is Rich and I'm new to the Sun world (been a sys admin with Sun
systems for about 8 months) and have a question. 

When I view processes using Top I see the mem usage and such, but how can I
see inside that process? I tried using crash to look at heap and kernel mem
mappings inside the process, but cannot get the right switches.  
I tried looking on sun.com and docs.sun.com, but couldn't find much helpful
info.

I am really interested in dissecting a Java process that is running on my
JRun app server. My environment is all Solaris 8. Any advice or links to
follow would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
