Curious that you should mention those two together. Apple's OS X blends what
might be argued as the best GUI in the industry with one of the best
kernels - BSD. I guess we'll all see how that fares. Perhaps the day will
come when we're all running OS X on our Intel boxen and these senseless
arguments can cease forever.

BTW, I believe there was some mention of Jordan Hubbard during this thread -
he just announced today on FreeBSD announcements that he's going to work for
Apple to work on OS X. If anyone wants a copy of his announcement I'd be
glad to forward it to you if you drop me an e-mail.
