I'm selling VOIP PBXs for businesses 10-100 employees is my sweet spot. I am interested in the Costa Rica connection. Regards, Lonnie Domnitz LANgineers, Inc. My colleague who ran Supra Telecom has given me the leads and contacts. I was going to do it for VoIP support rooms because of all of the ATA problems people have, and it comes back to haunt the ISP resellers. I want to make it easier for them to just market and send support to somewhere else. Ryan -----Original Message----- From: Peter R. We are interviewing call centers now to hire one tele-marketer for 5 ISPs. Each gets one day and shares the expense. The tele-marketer costs about $18-38 per hour. 8 hour days. Plus other expenses like training, LD costs, set-up and programming. Setup is about $3000. Training is about 4 hours per TM, so $100 or so. LD is 5 cpm x 60 minutes x 40 hours per week = $120 Programming of leads into IVR system is about $50 per day (since different leads every day). The script is extra, since you have to provide at least a shell to the tele-marketer. (Refining the script with the TM also costs $). (I know an excellent script writer for about $299). The leads are also extra (and the ISP has to provide them. I do have sources for decent leads). Now why one day per week? One reason is the cost of leads. Another is that as the TM sets appointments, the ISP has to send a body out to close the sale (and that is a limiting factor). Also, implementation. Let's say the TM calls 30 businesses per hour and sets 7 appointments. Let's say you close 1 in 7. That's easy implementation. But to provision 5 per week would be difficult for some ISPs - as would 35 appointments. (Of course, mileage varies with services offered). That's the synopsis of the project I am working on now. I'm sure it is not the only way to do it, but I have to start somewhere. John, thanks for asking because I had to Brain dump this somewhere :) and the forthcoming feedback should be helpful. Thank you.
