Micah is using the ISP Marketing forum to ask a marketing/advertising
question. He's throwing his ideas to his peers on this list and
seeking feedback.
What else would we use this forum for?
Maybe you should spend more time being constructive and providing
meaningful feedback.

Some people can't see the forest through the trees. Micah is thinking
about launching an ISP based on a market niche. What's wrong with him
asking for advice on the portal page for that possible launch? If the
NHL launched a league sponsored ISP where you could brand the service
and your email for your favorite team, they'd sign up a good number of
subs. They would also have a good deal of loyalty. I've tried to take
this idea to the Atlanta Braves before, but they're a tough nut to
crack. You have to deal with MLB.
Good thoughts Micah. I think the site looks clean. Go Thrashers!

The Carolina hurricanes website has nothing to do with this email list.
This is plain spam.

Hello all,
I am trying to promote a new fan site and am looking for any
suggestions. There are a couple sites out there that compete with me,
but I believe mine stands out a little more based on it's non-generic
news content. Anyways, anyone have any suggestions? I was thinking
about buying google adwords since there is only one ad when you type in
Carolina Hurricanes. Anyone used this in the past? $5 setup fee and
you pick how much you want to pay per click, $0.05 to $5.00 Since
there
is only one ad now, I could pick $0.05 and do ok. What do you think?
