[isp-marketing] ISPCon and alternatives...

HostingTech is dead... but not totally buried from what I hear.

WISPCON III is on my list for serious consideration as is Broadband Wireless
World in April in San Jose.

I am also hearing serious rumblings of a new grass roots show being put
together in the model of the original ISPCon shows. Back when you not only
needed to know what you were talking about but actually must have done it
and done it well in the real world before being allowed to speak. That is
not to say that there is NO good content to be gleaned from the Baltimore
Lobby bit coming but just no where near what it was even 18 months ago.

As always YMMV.

Just my $0.02,

Doug
