Verizon Help
I called up VERIZON today to order a business DSL line. The Service only
comes with one static ip address, so I told the service rep that I wanted to
order five extra IP address and get the free Linksys Router that they are
offering. The service rep asked me WHAT are you planning to do with the
router and the extra IP address I told him that I needed the extra IP
address for three servers, Radius, Web, and an Email server. The rep told me
that I could not do that with just a Router, and that I need a switch or a
hub to go along with this router. Is this guy right? It just seemed like he
just did not want to give me the IP address. I thought all I needed was a
router? I'm going to be a VISP and run my own RADIUS. I know some of you are
going to tell me to get a T1 but I don't have a 1,000 a month for one.. Is
anyone out there a VISP that has set up there Network similar to the one I'm
trying to set up? ANY help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Darrell
