I have a problem that I just can't figure out. I have a server in which I changed it's IP address in October of 06. I updated the DNS for the domain and also the reverse on both my DNS servers. I then started getting complains last month from various customers that they have customers that can not see their websites. Further investigation shows that various other DNS servers are still reporting the old IP address when I do a dig against them. I then changed the serial of the zone, and verified the contents, and changed the timeout to 3600. Some DNS servers are now reporting the proper IP, but others are not. The ones that are not are even reporting the proper serial number of the zone. The domain in question is: webadmin2.interbel.net It's IP is 65.19.234.253 The OLD ip is 65.19.234.254 There still is a server sitting on 254, but with a different hostname, and dns is turned off. I have been racking my brain with this one for over a month now, and just can't grasp what is going on. Any ideas?
