A better way to get leads is to generate them yourself via email. I am listed as a very large direct email marketer and I have done mortgage lead generation for years. What I have discovered is that these so called leads you buy are produced by people that never use them. Traditionally one would send a url in the email that links to a form for someone to fill out.  When you personalize the message with the recipients name in the subject line and have a telephone as a means of contact (replying to the email count). Then you empower yourself for an initial and long-term return on your investment by buying older leads and becoming a lead generator.

I have 12 million mortgage records from 2003 with emails – date, ip, time stamp and all of the values.. Basically I came up with an idea for my girlfriend who is a mortgage agent. As I had always had the mindset of collecting leads to be resold.

You don’t have top be an expert as a text email cannot be stopped.
