I did a lot of looking around for something like that a while back. If you want to stick with BIND there are lots of projects out there on sourceforge/freshmeat that do a flat file management (as webmin does). There are a few that even run off of a database and generate the configuration files BIND actually runs on after any changes. I wasn't too impressed by any of them that I ran across though. If you aren't too attached to BIND, powerdns looked really interesting and seemed to have a web-based admin interface built in. -David Price Milind Nanal wrote: List, I am looking for easy web based admin tool for managing bind 9 based DNS. DNS server is configured on Suse 8.2. WEBMIN tool is there but it give total system control. I don't want to use webmin. Any hints..................?
