I think you missed something. The original wanted two domains on the
same physical address:
NS1.MICROSOFT.COM 192.168.1.1
NS1.WHITEHOUSE.GOV 192.168.1.1
not two nameservers for the same domain as in:
NS1.MICROSOFT.COM 192.168.1.1
NS2.MICROSOFT.COM 192.168.1.1
Network Solutions is going to try to put in HOST records for both microsoft
and whitehouse using the same IP address. I believe that you are not allowed
to have duplicate HOST records in the root nameservers. Is it permitted to
have NS1.MICROSOFT.COM act as the primary nameserver for WHITEHOUSE.GOV?
