a reverse zone file is just like a forward zone file, except the reverse
zone file has PTR records after the SOA and NS records.Does anyone know of tutorials for a beginner? the best is read the DNS & BIND book, chapter 4 to know where to start that is more on my level. Right now I need to solve a dns loop for reverse delegations Chapter 9 talks about delegation
for a Class C reverse zone file, where A.B.C is the Class C and D is a host
address ( is 1 to 254 ):$ttl 1d soa .... ns ... ns ... $origin C.B.A.in-addr.arpa. ; this line is optional D PTR domain.name. etc. Len _____________________________________________________________________ http://MenAndMice.com/DNS-training: Seattle; London; San Jose; Wash DC IMGate.MEIway.com: anti-spam gateway, effective on 1000's of sites, free
