If you can't find how to turn on query logging (and the users will be sending recursive queries, not iterative queries so any bind4 logging has to show that distinction) in bind4, then since you have bind9 mastered on the new machine, run the machine bind9 confing on the bind4 box. ie, just up 4 to 9.Identify them through the log. Any info would be appreciated on how to turn on or capture the syslog info on a Win2000 server. The logging will tell you only the source IP originating the query. You will have to resolve the source IP into user to be contacted.
