You customer does not have to pay the $150, They can always choose to wait for it to come out of the redemption peroid and than re register their domain, but it could be that anyone else could also register their domain name at that time. I just went thru this whole deal with a customer of mine that never got notified for renewal. I watched it like a hawk to come out of the redemption peroid and then from there it enters a "pending Delete" state witch can take up to 5 days before it becomes available to re register. We were able to re register it though. As far as I can see this is just another way for netsol to make a few extra bucks.
