No.So even though it is still in there, one could theoretically register it? A domain is either "registered" (meaning that you can't go and register the domain, since someone else has), or "not registered" (in which case the domain doesn't exist, and can be registered). In this case, the domain expired, but is still registered (apparently to the registrar). It could be that the registrar has a 30-day grace period, for example, during which the original registrant can re-register it. For an expired domain, it should be impossible for anyone to access the domain (the web site, E-mail, etc.). --- [This E-mail was scanned for viruses by Declude Virus (http://www.declude.com)] ------------------------ANNOUNCEMENT--------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------------------------- >> ISP Technology << VPN, DNS Security Management, spam, 3G, WLAN Security, P2P, VoIP, PLC, 802.11i, 802.1x and much more! http://www.wispcon.com/spring2003/attend-sessionlist.asp The 10th Annual ISPcon, Baltimore Waterfront Marriott April 23-25 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------------------------------
