And i did some test on my own with queryperf (found in /contrib directory in 
bind source) and bind 8 was faster on same os/hw then bind 9.

djbdns WAS fastest around, BUT it does not support CIDR and it's not free 
(can't put the files where i want them to be). :]

/me uses bind 9.x (i prefer security over performance)
