[isp-dns] Re: Denied Dynamic Updates

We do web hosting. We're not an ISP offering connectivity to our customers.
Am I the only one that is seeing hundreds of denied dynamic updates each day in
their BIND logs? Everything from machines on corporate LANs to machines in home
offices. Probably just more annoying than anythign else. Should I just permit
the damned things?
Since you aren't running a dynamic zone, there's nothing to deny.

Anyway, there's no way to deny them. w2k and xp with MS's myopic, solipsistic defaults have in tcp/ip setting "register (ie, update dynamically) this machine in DNS" checked.
