[isp-caching] Looking for clear Documentation/HELP!!!

I'm trying to configure transparent proxy using the following system:
RedHat9 (Linux  2.4.20-30.9)
squid 2.5.STABLE5
Cisco 1605R (NO WIC T1)
--IOS (tm) 1600 Software (C1600-K8OSY-M), Version 12.3(5a), RELEASE 
SOFTWARE (fc1)

Needless to say I'm having a little difficulty.  I have kernel module 
ip_wccp built and installed, but I don't see it getting any usage.  The 
duckumentation available on the internet seems to conflict at times.  
Cisco had been almost no help.  Basically I get from them is " configure 
access lists, set version, turnon WCCP and you are done".  They keep 
telling me squid is the problem (They very well may be right, but I 
refuse to blindly believe them).  I am running NAT and the squid box is 
on the inside (YES I did exclude redirects for the squid box).

Anyone with experience with at similar setup?  Help and guidance would 
be appreciated.
