[isp-caching] Re: unusually high cpu load with squid
My squid is 2.4.6-2, installed from Debian package.  CPU usage is not
related to number of objects in cache, I tried to start squid with
empty cache, it still eats about 70% of CPU with 2Mbit/s of
traffic. My cache size is 10Gigs, but I tried 2, 4, 8Gb, same
result. There are no unusual errors in squid log files...

I tried to compile squid from sources, problem persists.
