[isp-caching] Re: CF615 - Problem with Hotmail and Yahoo

We recently upgraded from a 7505 to a GSR running 12.0(25)S, and WCCP
stopped working.

Everything appears normal on both the router and the CE, and WCCP appears to
be established, but no packets are being redirected.  We've tried both L2
and GRE modes, both standard web-cache as well as dynamic service numbers,
with no effect.  All of the various "show ip wccp" commands indicate that
everything is correct, yet no traffic is redirected.

Is anyone running WCCP successfully on a GSR?

We have seen the exact same issue with some of our appliances triggered by
the customers upgrading IOS.

When tracing the problem out on a new connection, the client will establish
a connection to the proxy, the proxy will send a syn to negotiate the
connection, the client will acknowledge the syn, but the client will never
make a data request.

We have a CacheFlow CF615, with CacheOS version CA 4.1.10016, with WCCP V2.

Some weeks ago we upgrade the CISCO Router IOS and with aparent any reason
we begam to have problems with Hotmail and Yahoo.
Sometimes you can log in Hotmail, but can not get into Inbox.. or you can go
into Inbox but can not open any mails... The same happen with Yahoo.

If I turn off the cache all works perfectly. If I turn on the cache and I
add to BypassList the ip networks of hotmail and yahoo, all works perfectly
too..
The problem is that there are a lot of ip network and servers for both
(hotmail and yahoo) and I could not add to bypasslist all of them.

Finaly we solve the problem.. we came back the IOS to Cisco version 12.2(13)
and all worked perfect..

Now, some weeks after we are having the same problem :-(.. I think that all
problems are related with secures pages...

Are there some special configuration in the Cache Flow or in Wccp to work
without problems with Hotmail and Yahoo..?

I hope someone can give some idea..
