On the point of the redirecting the traffic to the caching engine: Proxymus does support WCCPv2 and any other port based redirection for this purpose, but we strongly discourage customers from using it. We have proven that about 70% of all P2P traffic that traverses the backbone is port-hopped, thus not redirected to the cache. This significantly reduces the cache byte hit rate and for this reason we have developed the Tripleceptor which does, what we call, "context based redirection". With context based redirection an application can work on _any_ port it likes, but it will end up being redirected to the cache.
