In the past I have used Cisco, Riverstone, Proteon, and others. Today I am only running BGP on Juniper and Force10. It seems today (and for the last decade or so) that Cisco and Juniper have dominated the WAN/BGP router market, but it's not necessarily safe to assume everyone is using either. I put together a few survey questions about this... and no, I don't work for a vendor. What do you use? Why? If you had your choice, would you stay with your current platform, or would you switch, and to what if so? Thanks for taking the time to reply to this... I think it's good to take measure of what the community is using and how they feel about it.
