Folks, Just a note to share some news regarding Jim Wagner, my predecessor here on the lists -- the below is from Erin Joyce, Executive Editor of internetnews.com. Best, Jeff Goldman ISP-Lists --- Wanted to wait until after the holidays to send word around of Jim Wagner's departure from internetnews.com in order to reach as many as possible. Jim has taken a position with Schneider National in Wisconsin as a claims support specialist, and will be moving into IT management for the company soon after. His last day is this Friday, Jan. 6th. It's a great opportunity for Jim and his family, but a bittersweet development for internetnews.com and JUPM. Jim's work with the company dates back to 1999 when he joined the ISP- Lists site as an e-mail support representative/weekly digest writer before moving on to managing the ISP-Lists after Pat Fusco moved into a new position. He later moved to the internetnews.com crew as a Senior Editor and has been a major contributor to the site (as well as other sites that pick up his stories) since 2001. His technical abilities and deep knowledge of networking were just two of the many reasons his work made such a difference for the site. We'll miss his ability to crank out copy that's ahead of the competition and fill in for other editors on short notice as well. He also wrote some of our funniest stories with the use of his dry wit, and was and is always quick to ask where else he can help on story coverage, projects and anything to help the site. All this and he makes time to serve in the National Guard too. Jim, sorry to see you go but happy to hear about your opportunity.
