Mostafa ..
Actually i was inquiring about a problem as such :
{box 1} {box2}
| |
{box3} ----iBGP----- {box4}
|
|
traffic ingress
box3 and box4 are iBGP peers. but since an IP which is matched in the
policy route configuration at box3 finds a matching source
destination, the traffic is routed to box 1 instead of box 4 which is
iBGP peer of box3.
box 1 and box 2 are linux boxes (2 interfaces each ) not run with
zebra or bgpd ..
i wanted to prioritise iBGP peer traffic over Policy routing !!!
The solution as i implemented:
{box 1} {box2}
| |
{box3} {box4}
| /
| / iBGP ..
{box 4} --- /
|
traffic ingress
This way .. i can prioritise my traffic to iBGP first ..
Anyways.. thanks for the reply .
Regards
Nitin
