RE: [isp-bgp] multipath BGP
Charles,

Thanks for the reply! I have been doing some research, but I have been
unable to find a good example resource for setting up the announcement
of local preferences.

Could you possibly suggest any sites/docs etc that you feel would be a
good place to start reading?

Thanks

Edward

It's as good as others :) BGP is the main driver, so I'd say it's
on
topic.

Well, if you want to force this action, you will have to turn on
send-community
with Sprint and UU.

For the Sprint block, you will want to send UU a community
of 701:80 to set it's local preference within UU to 80 (so when you
announce the
sprint route to Sprint, it will be prefered, even from UU's network).

Then you will have to do the same for the UU block via Sprint with a
community
of 1239:70.

If you are wondering where I got the communities from, I have the
community
guided collected at: http://www.onesc.net/communities

The idea here would be that if your Sprint session failed, both
netblocks would
come back down your UU circuits and vice versa.
