Sometimes the deaggregation is a necessary part of IPv4 multihoming, but I just brought on a customer who "insisted" on being able to announce any/all /24s from his /19. Granted, he's two-homed without connectivity between homes, so he'll need to migrate, but I told him if I found all 32x/24 from his connection to us and none from anywhere else, he'd have to aggregate at that moment.Out of curiosity, has anyone ever put together a list of ASN's that make the most inefficient use of their allocations? An example would be some of the universities with a /8 prefix but only 50k addresses in use. :-) pt To unsubscribe via postal mail, please contact us at: Jupitermedia Corp.
