[isp-bgp] BPG AS best practice

All,

I work for a very large bank and we are acquiring a third data center, What
is the preferred practice when you have multiple data centers in different
regions regarding AS numbers?  

I currently use 1 AS number and assign CIDR blocks based on data centers. Is
this the preferred way, or should I have a different AS number per data
center and why.
