There wasn't a requirement for this specified by Jim but I just want to
confirm if what I am thinking might be more feasible for outbound traffic. 
 
Get a default route and the specifics for the customers directly attached to
sprint from which there are 2 T1's coming in and get a the complete Routing
Table from UUNET and a default route.
 
Assign the UUNET prefixes a lower local preference so that most traffic
destined for remote networks is through them and at the same time assign
another lower local preference for routes learnt from sprint that are
directly connected to Sprint. This way you are still using the sprint links
for their directly connected customers instead of just using those links as
a backup. Thx.
