Dear James and colleagues , First of all im very gratefull for your contribution all of you , and im really very happy to be a member of this BGP working group . Well , we have exactly 2 GTWs each one has a separte BGP session one with FLAG NY ,and FLAG LNDN as i mentioned before we use flag NY as the main link while LNDN is a bckup for both up & downstream traffic except some small volumes of certain classes form my observation during the past 2 monthes i can say that our session with FLAG LNDN is more stable than FLAG NY , and attacks are of that type consuming B.W so what happen is we got BGP-SESSION down due to Hold timer expired + Some EIGRP sessions also reset due to hold time along DPVCs carrying the attack . Our traffic policy is implemented by sending our prefixes with two differnt communities and flag apply differnt LP for each path NY & LNDN We confirmed with flag that our prefixes are of same attributes at thier edge routers so damping may be due to reannouncement I wana to confirm that Flag doesnt aply damping to its customers plus fastfallover is disabled from both sides as per our request . Regarding my suggestion which is advertiseing more specific and aggregating at flag Edge routers keeping the as path information as its in as-set form : If im not the owner of the prefixs , i dont have the right to aggregate these prefixes "" is this true or false ??
