Hi list, I am new to the list, working as a freelance consultant in the IT field in Sweden. I am a novice in the field so please be patient. I hope to learn from the list and have a question straight away, which relates to peering services: I am doing a project which investigates SLA fulfillment measurements for IP Transit services. So far I have identified TeliaSonera International Carrier who offers measurements on availability, delay, packet loss and jitter as part of their IP Transit service: http://www.teliasoneraic.com/ts/teliasonera/sidtypTS_11.do?tabId=0&channelPa ge=%2FsidtypTS_11.do&channelId=-90049 They have installed measurement probes in key nodes and provide access to the measurements to their customers via a web interface. My questions are: - Do you know of IP Transit providers who also offer SLA fulfillment measurements? - How do they produce the measurements? Probes or other method? What vendor are the probes from? - How do they present the measurement to the customer? - Finally: Do you know of IP Transit providers who don't provide measurements for SLAs fulfillment? Thanks for any help and input I can get.
