Hi there,
We've recently been assigned AS31523 and have been advertising 194.24.250.0/23
to our (currently) only peer, VIA Net.Works AS5669 - we've had good
propogation of this route in Europe, but haven't really 'cracked' the
USA/Canada yet.
e.g. executing 'show ip bgp 194.24.250.0' on any of
route-views.on.bb.telus.com
route-views.ab.bb.telus.com
route-server.cerf.net
route-server.gblx.net
route-server.ip.att.net
comes back with "Network not in table". Some (like Oregon-ix) list us, and
others don't - I've just listed the above as 'major' ones...
I'm an experienced Linux sysadmin, but BGP and internetworking is all very new
and unforgiving - I'd really appreciate it if someone could perhaps provide
some pointers?
Cheers,
Gavin.
