I'm sorry, i was not clear. This is in reference to IBGP and EBGP distances only, so If I set EBGP to 20 and IBGP to 200, I will always preferr EBGP regardless of AS-PATH, etc. NO IGP routes involved. Administrative distance ALREADY comes before the BGP path selection algorithm - the BGP rules only matter if there are two (or more) BGP choices and NO other choices with lower administrative distance.
