Hello, Everybody knows that a Route Reflector must be in the forwarding path when a network is laid out. My question is that, are there situations when this is not possible? Has any operator faced any problem like this, where he wanted to put his RR in the forwarding path but was for some reason not able to do it easily? And secondly, are there any network designs where the RR isnt in the forwarding path? People can mail me offline if they dont want to talk about this in a public mailing list. Would really appreciate some responses.
