Sorry, I should have been a little more specific.....Yeah, you'll want something that can take 256MB of RAM (like a 3660 or bigger) , and then you'll be able to do anything with BGP you want to for many years to come. But if you *really* want a cool router......I recently purchased a 3725 to replace my two year old 3640. Memory use was right at capacity and caused issues with BGP tables. Don't buy something that you'll outgrow too soon. Many years ago, when I had two T-1s and was making the leap from a little single homed ISP to dual homed with BGP, I got a 7507 with 256MB of RAM, and don't regret it. Since then, it's been filled with VIPs and port adapters, and does a *LOT* more than just a few T-1s. I've also added a few more 7507s to my network since then. Looks like someone has a pile (literally... it's a stack of them!) of 7507s on ebay right now for about $750. Order an RSP (or two for redundancy) and some VIPs and port adapters and have a nice router setup for a few thousand dollars or less that can grow into whatever your requirements may be.
