All, We have a good friend who runs a hosting company in the same datacenter as we use for our WISP operation. We'd like to use them as redundancy for our network in case our upstream goes down, and they use our network as redundancy for theirs. We first thought about advertising our local networks (just a few /24 nets) and a prepended default route to each other. Our upstream doesn't like this as he's saying we need to determine who is who's customer. He's going to give me a hard time to advertise my friend's routes out to them (through us). I'm not sure about my colleagues upstream, but we're finding out now. Any suggestions on how to accomplish this? We have all our IP address reassigned to us through ARIN, so we do control the IP space (i.e. no LOAs needed, etc.). Thanks in advance. Chris -- Chris Hale Peak Networks, Inc.
