Last DDoS attack I saw was 800,000pps destined for AS27595 over a Gig-E. I was thinking 1.5mpps for a fastE full of 64byte packets, I was actually wrong and I think a more resonable number is ~195kpps. Can I see a PC router doing that? > If you can forward 300Mbps but your network falls down during DoS, does it > really matter that you can forward 300Mbps? Sure, you paid possibly no money for a router that can get you past the initial cost hump of selling BW. Didn't you make that assertion to ASR the other day anyways?
