[isp-bgp] Re: Router for BGP4
Minimum 7206 for two T1s? Be serious!

You do not need powerfull cpu to route such a small traffic. You do not
need more then 128Mb ram if plan is to get only one full route table
(actually for two full tables 128mb would still be about twice of the
minimum 64Mb necessary for 2T1s with BGP).

So if you like cisco and you're going to use T1s for internet connectivity,
you can get 3620 with NM-1FE2W (or NM-2FE for two ethernets) and WIC-2T
card (still left is one WIC card for extra two T1s and one full slot for
additional ethernet, T1s, etc) or if you prefer to buy from ebay you can
get older 10Mb NM and WIC-1T and fill your slot completely.

You can also go with 2600 serious router, newwer cisco routers like 2691
can have 128Mb ram and have slots for same WIC T1 cards.

If you do plan to upgrade to T3 in the future and do not want to buy extra
router then (in my opinion since cost of router is going down, its better
not to spend too much right now), then you should go with possibly 3640 or
3660 or 7204 or 7206 as suggested.
