I don't know about this, but I do know some boxes (don't know which 
ones) will not announce to you any routes with your own AS in it. I 
have a customer with a similar situation and they needed some statics 
to solve this. (Or you can run ebgp-multihop sessions with the remote 
router(s) using the ISP point-to-point subnet addresses for this.)
