Hello, list! 

Your favorite List Dad, Jim Wagner, a member of the U.S. Army Reserves,
has been called up to active military duty-- we are all looking forward to
his safe return.  In the meantime, I'll be filling in: just call me List
Uncle.

I'll be monitoring the lists, helping to keep things on topic, and if
necessary, enforcing the rules we've all agreed to.
