I think the point being attempted here is that to the average consumer  
"residential internet equals commercial internet" because our industry  
advertises it as such... We keep shooting ourselves in the foot, all  
under the guise of competition by continually trying to out do one  
another and hence creating this all you can eat Ponderosa buffet with  
limitless/huge portions and no limits.

The industry needs to come together to collectively re-examine the  
pricing matrix and hopefully find a common ground with regard to  
product type, service, limits and price?

We should be charging people per minute like the telcos used to.   
Charge for use, with a premium on over usage.  Until that happens, the  
consumer is going to continue to believe that everything for nothing  
is the way it is.
