Hi All,
We've got this weird problem from one of the servers accessing
www.bankwest.com.au. The tcpdump output is shown below:
telnet www.bankwest.com.au 80
Trying 203.19.158.30...
18:35:20.214454 xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx.33722 > 203.19.158.30.80: SWE
3426598044:3426598044(0) win 5840 <mss 1460,sackOK,timestamp 44688982
0,nop,wscale 0> (DF) [tos 0x10]
18:35:20.293499 203.19.158.30.80 > xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx.33722: R 0:0(0) ack
3426598045 win 5840 <mss 1460,sackOK,timestamp 44688982 0,nop,wscale 0>
(DF)
Note that:
o it is a new Debian 3.0 setup
o running a recompiled 2.4.18 kernel
o no iptables rules
o other machines in the same subnet do not have this problem, but
none of them is debian
o tcptraceroute to www.bankwest.com.au port 80 completes.
Any idea?
