  Works fine for me :

  The awful quality is, of course, only a product of the massive jpeg
compression I applied...

  It must be a dilemna at your end (the client host, no doubt), but I
can't think what (other than the things you've already covered...).

  Do you have other boxen at hand with which to check it?
